Description

Great architects, great artists and perhaps most importantly great empires left incredible legacies around ‘Mare Nostrum’ – the Roman name for the Mediterranean Sea! At the forefront of this voyage Barcelona’s boast is Gaudi. Sète’s roots lie in ancient Greece. D H Lawrence succumbed to the charm of Rapallo, whilst Livorno and Civitavecchia promise countless works from the masters Bernini, Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. Sicily’s gem is Taormina. Brindisi was a fixture on the famed Silk Road. Wrapped within its massive medieval wall, Dubrovnik marks the end of this Voyage of Discovery.
